Light Bar Brake Light Cut-Off Switch

Step 1: Set convertible top in the down position

Step 2: Remove upper and lower portion of the rear seats

Step 3:Locate the exiting ground wire (negative -) from the light Bar. Cut the wire and connect these two new ends into the two black wires of the Brake Light shut-Off Switch. Since this is a ground switch, Polarity is irrelevant (See illustration "A")

Step 4: locate the convertible top motor directly behind the upper portion of the back seat assembly. The circuit to the motor has a two wire (red and Yellow) lead. Connect the Brake Light Shut-Off Switch wire leads (red and Yellow) to the convertible top motor harness.

Note: Relay in the enabled / lamp on / Top down position.

The Light bar brake light is polarity sensitive. Make sure you have the proper
wire from the light bar to a power source.  

AFTER INSTALLATION THE CUTOFF SWITCH WILL NOT FUNCTION
UNTIL THE CONVERTIBLE TOP IS RAISED (ONE TIME) AND
LOWERED (ONE TIME)
