 purchased the business....Casey and Anna S. We are still a small family owned company and when you call
you will still speak with Casey or Anna and they will be happy to take your orders or answer any questions

  In 1997 this 53 year old retired engineer from California set out to upgrade his old Dodge Caravan to a newer model.   After shopping for  a "whole" hour I had made my choice. I drove home in a used 1996 Mustang GT Convertible (Laser Red).  Big surprise to my wife.  Well not  knowing  A GT from an LX to a Labrador retriever,  I discovered that I had purchased an economy model. That is it had cloth interior and was stock throughout.  After checking out other Mustangs I knew that some things had to be  changed.


Here goes! First I started with Wheels and Tires and added Lowering Springs. That was soon followed with a Borla Exhaust 3.73, gears, Light Bar, Saleen S281 Wing, Saleen Tonneau.  I learned that I never should have visited  "Saleen Performance in Irvine". Now my wish list was a mile long. I changed my gray cloth  to black leather seats. Then the carpet from gray to black. I painted the interior from dull gray to  black. I did all of this with my wife at my side.  In 98 I went with the whole saleen Speedster Package and Ground FX.  I later purchased the Saleen Composite hood and Chrome saleen Wheels and Tires.  Installed a shift kit, and changed the top from Black to Tan.  This year 2002 I just had the interior reupholstered Fr. and Rr.  Now in 2003 we just started with the Photo-Genesis process for the dash system.....and a Customized Steering Wheel....Supercharger????????? Better ask the Boss..

Next, I decided to manufacture a rear window for the light bar something like Mercedes and other hi end sports Cars had  now called "the Windgard" for the Classic Light Bar . During this period I had made several visits to California Mustang in City Of Industry. They asked if they could use our Mustang Convertible for the cover of their 1979-1998 Mustang accessories catalog.  I of course was delighted and agreed. During the photo shoot my Windgard was noticed by Steve Bennett of Cal-Mustangs advertising  department. Steve felt  that Mustang owners would be interested in buying my Windgard. 



Hence Haney Motorsport was born.  The Patent Pending Speedster Wind-Gard wind deflector began production in the driveway. I created a Web Site with only this one product. The Wind-Gard's first customer was California Mustang. This was followed by Paper Flames Racings, then Classic Design. Our first year was slow but we began to add additional products to our web site. We gradually went from 1 product to over 300.  We always self promote and build our site ourselves. By 2003 Saleen, Inc. was purchasing our Speedster Wind-Gard and installing it into every new Saleen "speedster package" S281 Mustang at there plant in Irvine California.  Today, we have 3 models of the Wind-Gard wind deflector exclusively for the Classic Design, Roush and Saleen Light Bar.

 Haney Motorsport enters 2007....HMS is once again expanding our product line and services. With every year, Ford has improved and advanced their engines electronics. HMS is moving forward to have a complete installation facility and custom dyno tuning.
